What is forehead filling?

It is a filler injection method to eliminate wrinkles and lines on the forehead. Hyarulonic acid fillings are applied to the lines in the forehead area. Even if slight redness occurs on the face, these rashes pass the next day. This procedure, which has immediate effect and is expected to last for 1-1.5 years, is a highly preferred method among the non-surgical medical aesthetic applications.

Which materials are used for filling?

Who should apply forehead filling?

If the forehead filling is performed using hyaluronic acid, it is performed by a Plastic Surgeon, or a Dermatologist or a Medical Aesthetician.

If it is performed by fat injection, it can only be performed by a plastic surgeon.

Duration of application

The application takes any time between 30 min to 1 hour in hyaluronic acid fillings.

In the case of fat injection, it takes several hours.

Patients who are not allowed by their doctors to have this procedure due to any existing illness cannot have forehead filling.

Do edema and swelling occur after forehead filling?

Filling performed using hyaluronic acid does not usually cause swelling and edema; any swelling and edema that may occur can be easily resolved with cold application and creams applied externally.

In the case of applications with fat fillers, it takes about 1-2 weeks for the edema to completely resolve.
